2011 Arizona Camp
Presented by EH and Grasky Coaching
Plan now! Do you really want to miss this one??? Late February, early March is the perfect time to escape the cold, put some great base mileage in, and have a blast…
This will be the fifth year in a row for this camp. The training venue is hard to beat and I still have very fond memories of last years camp, and the attendees will confirm that this was one of the best endurance experiences they’ve ever had. In fact, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to train in some amazing locations during our harsh CT winter, and Tucson is, in my opinion, the best venue you can ask for when considering a winter endurance camp.
I’m reducing the maximum number of campers to just 12. This way we can give more personal attention throughout the camp. We already have quite a bit of interest, so if you plan on attending, I’d get in your deposit to me asap to reserve your spot.
What: a week long, state of the art, winter training camp in Tuscon. Athletes will do daily swim, bike, and run sessions, including:
swim sessions in a beautiful outdoor pool with mountains as the backdrop!

- scenic, long rides in the surrounding Tuscon area, including long steady climbing in the mountains, most notably, the famous Mt. Lemmon, and Kitts Peak.
- Spectacular trail runs
- Assisted stretching sessions
- Technique and form work
- Bike fit
- Heart rate testing (outdoors) and zone set-up
- Discussions on nutrition, mental training, peaking and tapering, …
- Lots of laughs
The camp will be headed by coach Eric Hodska (www.Hodska.com) and coach Brian Grasky (www.graskyendurance.com)
When: February 26, 2011 through March 5, 2011
Cost: $1370 for double room accommodations, or $1670 for single room accommodations. Leave a deposit by September 1st and the cost is $1270 for double occupancy, $1570 for single occupancy. Cost includes accommodations, coaching, snacks during training, and transportation including pick-up and drop-off at airport. Does not include meals and flights. A deposit of $200 is due initially to reserve your spot, then another two payments of $500 are due by November 1st and January 1st. The last payment will be due one week before camp.

Triathletes and endurance athletes of all abilities are welcome. (limited to 12 athletes)
We will assist you if necessary of coming into this camp prepared. We will be doing a solid amount of training volume, with the focus on establishing pre-season base. This camp is also ideal for those doing an early season race or for building a solid base to jump start your 2011 season.
