Bike Fit
*New* Bike fit, LT test, Hear Rate Zone Analysis and Prescription, and Form Analysis
In the past few years, I have witnessed more than my share of extremely improper bike fits done by many bike shops and other so called experts. I’m not saying that everyone out there is wrong in regards to fit, however, I have been doing this for over fifteen years and feel I can assist a cyclist and/or triathlete in finding the optimal specific position for them personally that takes aerodynamics, power and comfort all into consideration.
Also, I like to test athletes and assist them in finding their optimal heart rate zones for training, simplify how to use these zones for the individual, and educate them on the benefits of training with zones. Here’s what’s involved in this specific evaluation:
- Proper individual fit including assessing flexibility, core strength, power, riding style and experience.
- After finishing the fit, we will then do a specific lactate threshold test on the computrainer.
- We also review cycling efficiency through use of the spin scan feature during different rpms.
- We will develop and explain specific individual heart rate zones for the athlete.
- We will then do a short outdoor ride to assess fit and heart rate zones in the "real world".
Plan on four hours worth of time for this full evaluation.
Cost: $300.00
