- How long have you been training for and racing in Triathlon? 6 years
- Quickly, Snickers or Twizzlers? Red Vines
- What do you consider your biggest athletic achievement (doesn’t have to be tri-related)? Still having my high school record in Discus from 1983.
- What are your big goals for 2008? Top 3 finish in age group at Ironman LP, then Kona.
- What’s your favorite meal? Chocolate, wine and coffee, is that a meal? OK, McCann’s oatmeal with honey and blueberries.
- What’s your favorite snack food? Eating off my kid’s plates
- What’s your favorite movie? Pursuit of Happyness
- Any other hobbies? cooking , coaching my girl’s soccer teams
- Where is the best place you have visited? Italian Alps
- If you could visit one place this year, where would it be? Kona
- What’s your favorite workout? A social run or ride.
- Tell us about the craziest workout you have done: Running 10 miles to a race in a Turkey Trot 5 K in LaJolla, Ca then running home.
- Who’s your inspiration? Alex Campanaro, an young athlete who I coached in soccer that has lupus and a new kidney from her Mom.
- If you could train with one person for a day, who would it be? Alex, when she is healthy enough again.
- Any other words of wisdom? Refuse to Lose
